Hi there, my name is Tracey.

Wordsmith Services is my online home, together with some consulting friends.

Having always loved reading and writing, right from childhood, I always seem to find my way to editing, writing, and adding my two cents to any copy I read, wherever I go. 

After more than two decades in marketing, working in corporate with a focus on B2B communications, I transitioned to focus on copywriting full-time in 2019.

Post-Covid, I had a think about life, and decided to follow a long-held passion and spend more time writing, and less time commuting. From my home office, I have worked as a trade journalist, using my years of experience in the built industry. I also provide copywriting, blogging, newsletters, social media and digital marketing services to a small group of clients.

The photograph above expresses many things about me. I don’t like having my photo taken, I love coffee and am often found pen and paper in hand. The grey hair started in my teens, and I have learnt to live with it. After all, there are much bigger things in life to think about. Some of those thoughts, I share here.
